Cesc Fabregas reacts to Victor Moses’ display for Chelsea FC at Brighton
Cesc Fabregas takes to social media to poke fun at Victor Moses after Chelsea FC's 4-0 win over Brighton
Cesc Fabregas has taken to social media to poke fun at Victor Moses after the Nigerian helped to fire Chelsea FC to a 4-0 victory over Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday.
Moses scored Chelsea’s fourth goal on the south coast as he latched onto Charly Musonda’s pass and confidently finished for the visitors.
Chelsea were three goals up thanks to Eden Hazard’s double and Willian’s strike in the first half.
Moses has been a regular fixture in the Chelsea first team in recent weeks after having missed a large portion of the campaign due to injury.
And Fabregas was clearly feeling in a playful mood after he missed the game on Saturday due to a minor injury.
Fabregas wrote on Twitter after Moses’ goal: “Well done Victa boy. If one day you can finish off one of my passes, that would be great too. Thank you. 😉.”
Saturday’s win lifted Chelsea up into third place in the Premier League table ahead of Liverpool’s trip to Swansea on Monday night.
Chelsea now switch their attentions back towards League Cup affairs and the second leg of their semi-final clash against Arsenal at The Emirates on Wednesday night.
The two London sides played out a goalless draw when they met in the first leg at Stamford Bridge earlier this month.
