Matt Le Tissier has heaped praise on Eden Hazard following his sparkling form for Chelsea FC in recent weeks.

The Belgian playmaker seems to be approaching his best form for the west London side of late and has been instrumental in many of the Blues’ recent games.

He was named as the man of the match as Chelsea FC secured a 4-0 win at Brighton last weekend and he has now scored eight goals and made two assists in the Premier League for the Blues.

The 27-year-old is widely considered to be one of the best attacking players in Europe, and Le Tissier has been incredibly impressed by what he has seen from Hazard in a Chelsea FC shirt in recent weeks.

Speaking to Sky Sports News on Saturday afternoon, Le Tissier said: “In the last month he’s been outstanding. When he’s on top form, there is nobody who takes a game by the scruff of the neck like he can and do things on the ball. I think he’s an absolute joy to watch.”

Hazard will be expecting to feature for Chelsea FC when the Blues return to FA Cup action on Sunday afternoon with a home fourth-round clash against Newcastle United.

The Belgian was unable to prevent the Blues from slipping to a disappointing 2-1 loss to Arsenal in the League Cup semi-finals on Wednesday last week as they failed to reach the Wembley final.

Chelsea FC are currently third as they at least seek a top-four finish this season in the top flight.
