Ross Barkley looks to be settling into life as a Chelsea player very well after his January transfer from Everton
Ross Barkley looks to be enjoying getting into the thick of things at Chelsea after his January transfer to the west London club from Everton.
The 24-year-old became Chelsea’s first signing of the January transfer window last week when the Blues completed a deal to land the England international from the Toffees.
Barkley has not featured at all for Everton so far this season due to a serious hamstring injury, but the midfielder is now closing in on being fully fit for the Blues.
The midfielder has been training hard at Chelsea’s Cobham base since his move to Stamford Bridge and he will be hoping to break into the first team in the coming days.
And it seems as if the midfielder is settling in well to life at the west London side as he was pictured battling for possession with England team-mate Gary Cahill in training last week.
Barkley could be in line to make his first ever appearance for Chelsea when the Blues return to FA Cup action with a third-round replay against Norwich City at Carrow Road on Wednesday night.
Chelsea are aiming to get as close as possible to Manchester City in the Premier League table after having won the title in style last term.
