Paul Ince is tipping Chelsea FC to continue their recent good Premier League form by beating Bournemouth 3-0 in front of their home fans at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

The Blues head into the game on the back of having booked their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup by beating Newcastle United 3-0 in the fourth round in west London on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea FC are currently in third place in the Premier League table as they chase Champions League qualification in Antonio Conte’s second season in charge.

The Blues are unlikely to be able to catch Manchester City in the race for the top flight title so Conte’s targets are likely to shift towards finishing in the top four and progressing in both the Champions League and the FA Cup this season.

And former Manchester United star Ince is fully expecting to see the Blues claim all three points when they host Eddie Howe’s men in west London on Wednesday night.

Writing in his column for the Daily Express, Ince said: “Bournemouth have only had one win in their last five league games against Chelsea, so it wouldn’t be a good idea to go backing them here.

“In their FA Cup game against Newcastle, The Blues won convincingly and I’m going for another repeat of that result this week.”

Chelsea FC won the Premier League title in style last term but they did not have the distraction of the European football as they were able to concentrate purely on domestic affairs.
