The Blues head into the game in fine form, after having secured back to back victories over Brighton and Stoke City at Stamford Bridge over Christmas.
The west London side are in third place as they look to try and finish as high in the Premier League as possible.
Arsenal, meanwhile, have struggled to string together a consistent series of results in recent weeks, with the Gunners aiming to bounce back to winning ways following the disappointment of their 1-1 draw with West Brom on Sunday.
Chelsea will be looking for some revenge after the Gunners beat the Blues in the FA Cup final and Community Shield at Wembley last term.
But Drinkwater, who was among the scorers in the 5-0 win over Stoke on Saturday, says he and his team-mates are feeling full of confidence ahead of their trip to The Emirates.
Speaking to Chelsea’s website, Drinkwater said: “We can’t do much more than win games so as long as we’re doing that we’ll keep the pressure on.
“If we can take some confidence from into the Arsenal match that’s brilliant.
“It’s obviously a completely different game altogether but we’ll do our work on them and hopefully we’ll be ready.”
Chelsea will go for glory in the Champions League this season and will take on Barcelona in the last 16 of Europe’s elite club competition next month.
