Chelsea hold talks with Brazilian’s agent about summer transfer – report
Chelsea have held preliminary talks with Watford about the possibility of signing Richarlison this summer, say reports
Chelsea have held talks with Richarlison’s agent about the possibility of a move from Watford to Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
Website Goal is reporting that the west London side have already discussed a potential move for the promising 20-year-old Brazilian with the attacker’s agent Giuliano Bertolucci, who also represents a number of Chelsea players.
Richarlison has caught the eye with a number of impressive performances for Watford in the Premier League so far this season.
The young Brazilian signed for the Premier League club from Fluminense for a fee of around £11.5m last summer and has been in decent form.
Richarlison has scored five goals and made four assists in 23 Premier League games so far for Watford this season.
However, he has struggled in recent weeks and has only made one assist and netted no goals in his last 10 appearances in all competitions.
Chelsea are believed to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements this month but the same article in Goal says that Richarlison is “unavailable” for transfer in January.
The west London side are currently preparing for their FA Cup third round replay clash against Norwich at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
