The 27-year-old is widely considered to be one of the Premier League’s top attacking talents and has won the title twice with the Blues since his move to Stamford Bridge from Lille back in 2012.
Hazard has been in good form for Chelsea so far this season after having recovered from an ankle injury at the start of the campaign.
The Belgium international has scored nine goals and made four assists in all competitions to prove himself as a key man in Antonio Conte’s side.
Hazard has long been linked with a potential transfer to Real Madrid following his fine form for Chelsea in recent years.
However, it now appears that he is ready to sign a new contract with Chelsea, along with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Asked whether he would sign a new deal at Chelsea, Hazard is quoted as saying by Metro: “Yes. I think Thibaut first. Then I will sign.”
Hazard, Courtois and their Chelsea team-mates are currently preparing for their Premier League clash against Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues are in third place in the table as they look to try and close the gap to Manchester City at the top of the table.
