The England international was once again in fine form on Sunday afternoon as he scored the opening goal in the Reds’ 4-3 victory over Manchester City at Anfield.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been settling well into life on Merseyside since signing for the Reds from Arsenal on transfer deadline day back in August.
The 24-year-old has scored three goals and made three assists in 20 Premier League games for the Reds so far this season.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has found his first-team opportunities at Anfield to be somewhat restricted, with the midfielder having only started eight of the Reds’ 23 Premier League games.
But Liverpool FC boss Klopp has been delighted by what he has seen from the midfielder since his summer move to the Merseyside club.
Speaking at his post-match news conference after Sunday’s win over City, Klopp said: “It’s so nice to see how much he adapted.
“It’s just good and I am happy. I could not have had kind of an idea of what a good guy he is, to be honest.
“If you asked me what is better, the football player or the person, I would have to think a little bit about it.
“He is on a good way and enjoys it. He can still play [on] the wing, which is really important, [but he was] using the speed more and more in a midfield role.
“He needs to adapt a little bit and the midfield role was more of a dream for him than a reality because he didn’t play there often, but he is in a really good way.”
Liverpool FC now have the week off as they turn their attentions to their next Premier League game – a trip to the Liberty Stadium to take on Swansea on Monday.
The Reds are fourth in the Premier League table as they try and catch Manchester City in the race for the title.
