Mohamed Salah has taken to social media to wish Philippe Coutinho all the best after the playmaker completed his move from Liverpool FC to Barcelona on Monday.

The Brazilian was officially unveiled as a Barcelona player on Monday as the months of speculation about his future finally came to an end.

Coutinho had been in fine form for Liverpool FC this season and looked to have forged an understanding on the pitch with summer signing Salah.

The Egypt international, who has been one of the Premier League’s top performing players this season, was quick to wish Coutinho all the best after his transfer was confirmed on Monday.

Salah posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Really enjoyed playing with you even if it was for such a short time.

“I wish you all the best in your new adventure.✌🏼.”

Salah will be hoping to feature for Liverpool FC when the Reds return to Premier League action on Sunday with a crunch clash against Manchester City at Anfield.

The Reds will be aiming to gain revenge over Pep Guardiola’s men after they were thrashed by the Citizens 5-0 at The Etihad when the two teams last met back in September.

Liverpool FC are currently fourth as they chase Champions League qualification this term for the second season running under Jurgen Klopp.
