Mohamed Salah is winning his race to be fit for Liverpool FC’s clash against Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday in the Premier League, according to reports in the British media.
The Liverpool Echo is reporting that the Egypt international could be set to return to action for the Reds against the Premier League leaders at Anfield.
Salah has missed Liverpool FC’s last two games with a groin injury but the report claims that the 25-year-old travelled to Dubai with the Reds squad for a short break over the weekend.
And the same report says that Salah is in line to be fit to feature for the Reds against the Premier League leaders at Anfield this weekend.
The report hands Liverpool FC a significant boost, with Salah having been one of the Premier League’s top performing attacking players this season.
The Egypt international has scored 17 goals and made five assists in 21 Premier League games for the Reds this season since his transfer to Anfield from Roma in the summer window.
Liverpool FC head into the game in fourth place in the Premier League table as they look to try and secure Champions League qualification under Jurgen Klopp for the second season running.
