Virgil van Dijk looks to be settling in well to life at Liverpool FC following his transfer from Southampton at the start of the year.

The defender became the Reds’ first signing of the January transfer window at the start of the month when he joined the Merseyside outfit from Southampton after months of speculation linking him with the move.

Van Dijk has already made a Liverpool FC debut to remember after scoring the winning goal in the FA Cup third-round win over Everton at Anfield earlier this month.

The Netherlands international has been made to wait for his Premier League debut for the Reds after having sat out last weekend’s thrilling 4-3 victory over Manchester City at Anfield due to a minor injury.

Jurgen Klopp confirmed on Friday that Van Dijk is in line to make his first Premier League appearance for the Reds when they travel to Swansea City on Monday night in the top flight.

And Van Dijk looked to be in good shape as he trained with his team-mates at Melwood ahead of Monday’s trip to South Wales.

Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah were among the other Liverpool FC players in training action ahead of Monday’s game.

Here are some of the best pictures from Melwood with Van Dijk in training action with his new team-mates.
