Jurgen Klopp has urged his Liverpool FC side to quickly dust themselves down following their FA Cup loss to West Brom as they focus on their Premier League trip to Huddersfield next week.

The Reds slumped to a disappointing 3-2 loss to West Brom in front of their home fans in the fourth-round tie at Anfield as they were knocked out of the cup competition.

The Merseyside outfit do not have much time to feel sorry for themselves, with Klopp’s men back in Premier League action on Tuesday night with a trip to Huddersfield.

And the German manager has talked up the importance of the Reds bouncing back from their defeat by the Baggies on Tuesday night.

Speaking at his post-match news conference on Saturday, Klopp said: “We should try [to win at Huddersfield] but first we have to really think about what happened tonight and make ourselves ready for Huddersfield.

“A long run starts with the first game and that’s on Tuesday.”

Liverpool FC are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table as they chase Champions League qualification for the second season running under their German manager.

The Reds are also looking to return to winning ways in the top flight after their disappointing defeat by Swansea City last Monday night.

Liverpool FC will take on FC Porto in the last 16 of the Champions League starting next month.
