The Reds unveiled Van Dijk as their first signing of the January transfer window at the start of the month after having been heavily linked with a move to sign him over the summer.
Van Dijk enjoyed a memorable Liverpool FC debut last week when he scored the winner for the Reds in their 2-1 FA Cup third-round win over Everton at Anfield.
The Netherlands defender will now be hoping to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Anfield in the coming weeks as he looks to help shore up Liverpool FC’s shaky defence.
And Brighton’s Rosenior believes that Van Dijk will end up being a brilliant signing for the Merseyside outfit.
Speaking on The Debate on Sky Sports, Rosenior said: “He is outstanding.
“You can see in his temperament and his approach to the Everton game. He scored the winning goal but his overall play. He has an aura about him. He is a man mountain.”
Liverpool FC are currently preparing for their crunch Premier League showdown against Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds head into the game in fourth place in the Premier League table as they chase Champions League qualification for the second season running under Jurgen Klopp.
