Alexis Sanchez will most likely presented to the media as a Manchester United player on Tuesday, according to Guillem Balague.

The Chile international is set to become a Manchester United player after a deal was agreed with Arsenal for Henrikh Mkhitaryan to head in the other direction over the weekend.

Sanchez was at Carrington on Sunday to complete a medical as the transfer neared completion.

However, Spanish football expert Balague has claimed that Sanchez will not be officially presented to the media as a Manchester United player until Tuesday.

Balague wrote on Twitter over the weekend: “Alexis Sanchez is expected to be presented to the media early next week (Tuesday perhaps).”

Manchester United are currently preparing for their FA Cup fourth-round clash against Yeovil Town on Friday night.

The Red Devils we’re 1-0 winners against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday as they kept their place in second spot in the Premier League table.

However, Jose Mourinho’s men are still 12 points behind leaders Manchester City as they try and keep pace with their Premier League and local rivals in the second half of the season.

Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table but won both the Europa League and League Cup under Mourinho in his first campaign in charge last term.
