David Beckham is backing Alexis Sanchez to be a big hit at Manchester United

David Beckham is backing Alexis Sanchez to be a big hit at Manchester United following his much-anticipated transfer from Arsenal last week.
The Chile international signed for the Red Devils last Monday after the months of speculation surrounding his future at the north London club.
Sanchez made his debut for the Red Devils when he was named as the man of the match in Manchester United’s 4-0 win over Yeovil Town on Friday night.
The 29-year-old could now be in line to make his first Premier League appearance for the Red Devils when they take on Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night.
Former Manchester United star Beckham is expecting to see big things from the Chilean in a Manchester United shirt in the seasons to come.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Beckham said: “A player of his stature and calibre has obviously come from a big club like Arsenal and then to move to a massive club like Manchester United, that for me makes me proud to be a Manchester United player because we want great players and exciting players.
“Its great to see him wear a United shirt and I’m sure he’s going to be successful.”
Manchester United are currently preparing for their crunch Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils head into this week’s round of fixtures in second place in the Premier League table and 12 points behind leaders Manchester City.
Jose Mourinho’s men are set to take on Spanish side Sevilla in the last 16 of the Champions League starting next month.
