The France midfielder had endured a stop-start opening few months of the campaign as he struggled to find his top form and was hampered by injury.
However, the 24-year-old now seems to be finding his feet for Jose Mourinho’s men and was in top form as he helped Manchester United claim all three points against Stoke City on Monday night.
Pogba set up two of Manchester United’s three goals as the Red Devils claimed a dominant 3-0 victory over the Potters at Old Trafford.
And former Manchester United defender Neville has clearly been very impressed by Pogba’s recent upturn in performances for the Red Devils this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports on Monday night, Neville said: “They miss him so much when he’s not there. They drop in performance in terms of the connection from defence to attack [without Pogba].
“When he’s not there, it’s completely different for United.
“He’s got the confidence, the arrogance and personality to play for United. He always wants the ball and they’re a far better team when he’s in there.”
Pogba will be expecting to start for Manchester United once again when the Red Devils return to Premier League action on Saturday with a trip to Turf Moor to take on Burnley.
The Red Devils are currently in second place in the Premier League table and 12 points behind leaders Manchester City as they look to try and keep the pressure up on Pep Guardiola’s men.
