Man United tell 29-year-old he has until Friday to sign for them – report
Man United have issued a Friday deadline for Alexis Sanchez to sign for them from Arsenal, say reports
Manchester United have set a deadline of Friday for Alexis Sanchez to decide to sign for the Red Devils from Arsenal, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Express is claiming that the Red Devils have told the 29-year-old Arsenal star that he must make a decision about whether to join the Red Devils before the end of this week.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move to sign Sanchez in recent days after they reportedly entered the race for the Chile international along with local rivals Manchester City.
Sanchez’s future has been a non-stop source of speculation in recent weeks after he entered into the final few months of his contract at The Emirates.
The story says that Manchester United are worried that their interest in Sanchez is being used as a way to get Manchester City to increase their offer for the attacker.
And Jose Mourinho’s club have told Sanchez that he has until Friday to make a decision before they officially withdraw their interest in the Arsenal star.
The Chile international is widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s top players but his future has been a non-stop source of uncertainty after the Gunners failed to tie him down to a new deal.
