The England international scored his second successive hat-trick in Tottenham’s 5-2 win over Southampton on Boxing Day.
Kane has scored 18 goals in 19 games in the Premier League this season to surpass Liverpool FC’s Mohamed Salah as the league’s top goal-scorer.
The 24-year-old striker has also netted 39 times in 2017 to beat Alan Shearer’s previous record of 36 goals in 2017.
The Tottenham forward has been linked with a potential move to Manchester United, with Spurs earning a reputation for selling their best players to the Manchester clubs over the past decade or so.
Former Manchester United midfielder Savage doesn’t believe the Red Devils would be able to tempt Kane away from the north London club.
“I don’t think Kane would leave Spurs,” Savage told BBC Radio 5 Live. “I think he loves playing for Spurs.”
Kane has scored 93 goals in his last four Premier League seasons to average around 24 goals per season.
The Tottenham striker has finished as the division’s top goal-scorer in the last two seasons with 25 and 29 goals.
Manchester United were held to a goalless draw with Southampton at Old Trafford in their last Premier League game of 2017.
The Red Devils have failed to win their last four games in all competitions to end the calendar year with a whimper.
