“Manchester United and Manchester City are two of a number of clubs who want Seri. One source has told me today that a deal could be struck this month.
“Seri has a £33m release clause in his contract. Nice rejected an offer from Barcelona in the summer.
“United are looking at midfielders given that Michael Carrick is retiring at the end of the season and Marouane Fellaini is into the final six months of his current deal.”

The Red Devils are in second place in the Premier League table and 12 points behind current leaders Manchester City.
