Manchester United are considering making a huge bid to try and sign Neymar in the summer, say reports
Manchester United are considering a sensational swoop to try and sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in France.
French outlet Le10Sport, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Red Devils are ready to try and make a move to sign the Brazil international, who only moved to PSG from Barcelona last summer.
The same report says that Real Madrid are “seriously considering” making a move to sign Neymar in the summer, but that they could face “stiff competition” from Manchester United for the Brazilian’s signature.
The story also claims that Manchester United are planning an outrageous €500m (£443m) bid to bring Neymar to Old Trafford in the summer as Jose Mourinho looks to add to his attacking options at Old Trafford.
It is claimed in the same report that Manchester United chief Ed Woodward is “determined” to bring a global superstar to Old Trafford in the summer and Atletico striker Antoine Griezmann remains as a possible target for the Red Devils.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently preparing for their Premier League clash against Stoke City at Old Trafford on Monday night.
The Red Devils are aiming to get as close to Manchester City in the race for the title as possible.
