Paul Ince is backing Tottenham Hotspur to claim a 2-2 draw against Manchester United in the Premier League clash at Wembley on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils head into the game fresh from having secured their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup by beating Yeovil Town 4-0 on Friday night.

Alexis Sanchez made his debut for the Red Devils in that game after he completed his much-anticipated transfer to Manchester United from Arsenal last week.

Sanchez could now be in line to make his first Premier League appearance for the Red Devils as Jose Mourinho’s men prepare for their trip to north London.

And former Manchester United star Ince is expecting to see the two sides play out a thrilling 2-2 draw at Wembley in the Premier League clash.

Writing in his column for the Daily Express, Ince said: “This game is the fixture of the week, and I’m finding it impossible to predict.

“I don’t think it will be like their meeting at Old Trafford which United just nicked.

“It’ll be attack, attack, attack and goals – or at least I hope so. If both sides are playing how we have seen they are capable of recently, they’ll be difficult to split.”

Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last season but they did win the Europa League and League Cup under Mourinho.

The Red Devils head into this week’s round of fixtures in second place in the Premier League table and 12 points behind Manchester City as they bid to try and close the gap to their bitter local rivals in the coming months.
