Jamie Redknapp has tipped Arsenal and Chelsea FC to miss out on a top-four finish.

The Blues have struggled in 2018 so far following successive losses to Bournemouth and Watford to heap pressure on Antonio Conte.

However, the west London side hoisted themselves back into the top four courtesy of a 3-0 win over 20th-placed West Brom last week.

But Chelsea FC will make the trip to bitter rivals Manchester United and Premier League leaders Manchester City in their next two games.

Arsenal lost 1-0 to top-six rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby last weekend following Harry Kane’s winner at Wembley last weekend.

The Gunners are in sixth spot and eight points behind fourth-placed Chelsea FC with 11 games to in the Premier League season.

Former Liverpool FC captain Redknapp believes Arsenal and Chelsea FC will miss out on the top four.

“I think Spurs are certain to get in the top four,” Redknapp told The Debate on Sky Sports. “Chelsea are the wounded team.

“Arsenal are gone now. You worry with the Conte situation and what is happening at Chelsea. Man United should make top four with the money they’ve spent there. I think Liverpool. I think Arsenal and Chelsea will miss out.”

Arsenal finished in fifth place behind Liverpool FC last season to fail to qualify for the Champions League for the first time under Arsene Wenger.

The Blues will take on Spanish leaders Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash on Tuesday night.

Chelsea FC finished six points clear at the top of the Premier League table last term.
