Nabil Fekir’s agent has appeared to suggest that the attacker’s long-term future at Lyon is uncertain amid reports linking him with a move to Arsenal.

The 24-year-old has been in superb form for the French side so far this season and has scored 16 goals and made six appearances in Ligue 1 this term.

Arsenal are bound to be linked with a host of players between now and the end of the campaign as Arsene Wenger considers further bolstering his squad at The Emirates.

The north London side were busy in the January transfer window after the concluded deals to sign both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

It remains to be seen whether the north London side will reignite their reported interest in signing Fekir in the summer transfer window.

However, it seems that his long-term future at the French club is a source of uncertainty, if his agent is to be believed.

Speaking to French outlet Telefoot, as quoted by Metro, agent Jean-Pierre Bernes said: “It’s too early to talk about it [his future].

“We have time, that’s the straight line. There are important goals and he is already in a big club.

“After considering my relationship with [Lyon president] Jean-Michel Aulas, we will make the best decision.”

Arsenal are currently preparing for the return leg of their Europa League last 32 tie against Ostersunds at The Emirates on Thursday night.

The north London side have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in 2004.
