The Gunners completed the signing of the Gabon striker from Borussia Dortmund last month as Arsene Wenger chose to significantly bolster his attacking options at The Emirates.
Aubameyang netted his first goal for Arsenal in their thrilling 5-1 win over Everton last weekend as he combined with fellow new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
And Tottenham defender Alderweireld says that the Lilywhites will have to make sure they keep the 28-year-old quiet when the two north London sides do battle at Wembley on Saturday lunchtime.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Alderweireld said: “He’s very quick, he’s a good finisher, he has it all.
“He is in a good moment now as well so it’s going to be very difficult to beat him but I think we will be ready for it.
“You have to work your mind. One against one, on the same line, he will beat you, so you have to be very clever, you have to read the situation and try to beat him with your head.”
Arsenal head into the game knowing that a victory would move them to within just one point of their bitter local rivals as the race for Champions League qualification hots up.
The Gunners missed out on a place in the Champions League for this season after they ended up in fifth place last term for the first time under Wenger.
Tottenham, meanwhile, did finish in the top four and they face Juventus in the last 16 of the Champions League later this month.
