Chelsea FC are facing competition from Paris Saint-Germain for the signature of AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to reports.

The Sun is reporting that the Ligue 1 side have joined the race for the Italian shot-stopper as Chelsea FC continue to look for a new goalkeeper.

The same report says that the west London side are in the market for a new goalkeeper as doubts about Thibaut Courtois’ long-term future at Stamford Bridge continue.

According to the article, Courtois is showing no signs of being close to committing his future to Chelsea FC, despite having less than 18 months left on his current deal.

The uncertainty, according to the same story, has prompted Chelsea FC to earmark AC Milan youngster Donnarumma as their first choice for a potential replacement for Courtois.

However, they could be set for a fight to sign the teenager, with Paris Saint-Germain now reportedly also interested in the Italian shot-stopper.

Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are currently preparing for their crunch Premier League showdown with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues head into the game on the back of their 1-1 draw with FC Barcelona on Tuesday night in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 clash.
