But Liverpool FC legend Carragher believes Conte’s time could soon be up at Chelsea FC.
“There’s a good chance he could go before then [v West Brom next Monday],” Carragher told Monday Night Football on Sky Sports.
“Not just because of how Chelsea are playing of late but because of Chelsea’s history of changing managers when the club fear they are not going to make the Champions League. They did it with [Andre] Villas-Boas, [Roberto] Di Matteo, [Jose] Mourinho as well.”
Chelsea FC are in fourth place in the Premier League table but 20 points behind leaders Manchester City.
