Dennis Wise has warned Antonio Conte that his constant battles with the Chelsea FC board isn’t inspiring the Blues players.

The Blues suffered a shock 4-1 loss to London rivals Watford on Monday night to heap further pressure on the Italian coach.

Conte’s men have conceded seven goals in their last two Premier League games following a 3-0 loss to Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge last month.

The Italian coach led Chelsea FC to the Premier League title in his first season in charge in what was a positive debut campaign in England.

Conte, though, has struck an unhappy figure at the Stamford Bridge outfit over the past few months despite having a decent season with a top-four place still up for grabs.

Chelsea FC will take on Championship side Hull City in the FA Cup fifth round before their Champions League last-16 clash against La Liga giants Barcelona.

Former Blues midfielder Wise has urged Conte to adopt a more positive outlook to garner some better performances from his Chelsea FC players.

“There’s always a problem. He wants this player or another player. He keeps saying he is here to coach. You kind of want him to forget about all that,” Wise told The Debate on Sky Sports.

“You want the Conte from six months ago with a big smile on his face. He is the leader and the inspiration. He is not showing that at the moment. He isn’t someone you are inspired by.”

Chelsea FC won the Premier League title with two games to spare last term after they finished seven points clear of their closest challengers Tottenham Hotspur.
