Rio Ferdinand believes Eden Hazard will ensure that Chelsea FC finish in the Premier League’s top four ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool FC.

The defending Premier League champions are in a difficult run of form in the English top flight following a return of one win in their last four games.

Chelsea FC suffered a surprise 3-0 loss to Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night to demote the Blues to fourth place in the table.

The west London side are two points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur, while Liverpool FC are in third place and ahead of Chelsea FC on goal difference.

However, the Blues still have one of the Premier League’s best players in their ranks in the shape of Hazard, who has scored eight goals and made two assists in 21 appearances.

Former Manchester United defender Ferdinand is confident that Hazard will fire Chelsea FC to a top-four finish despite the west London side’s obvious struggles.

“I’m going for Man City, Man United, Spurs and Chelsea,” Ferdinand told BT Sport Premier League Tonight on Wednesday night.

“If Eden Hazard continues to perform and stays fit, he carries them into the top four.”

Chelsea FC have won the Premier League title in two of the past three seasons under Jose Mourinho and then Antonio Conte.

The Blues will take on La Liga giants Barcelona in the Champions League round of 16 next month.
