Pundit: What really impresses me about Chelsea FC star Willian
The former Irish midfielder is impressed with Willian's ability
Willian always makeS an impression in the Chelsea FC team when given a chance, Keith Andrews says.
The Brazilian forward has found his first-team opportunities limited in the 2017-18 Premier League season.
Willian has started 15 times in the Champions League and the Premier League with a yield of nine goals and six assists.
However, the South American has come off the bench 17 times but has struggled to have an impact on games.
The former Shakthar Donetsk star has fallen behind Spain international Pedro Rodriguez in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
But Willian was Chelsea FC’s standout player in a 1-1 draw with Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash last week.
The South American hit the woodwork twice in the first half before he broke the deadlock with a precise finish.
However, former Wolves midfielder Andrews believes Conte should give Willian more of a chance to shine in the Chelsea FC team.
“Any time he plays, Willian takes the opportunity,” Andrews told Irish radio station Newstalk.
“You see some players come off the bench and sulk. He makes an impression every single time.”
The Brazilian playmaker was named Chelsea FC’s player of the year in 2015-16 in his best season at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues attacking midfielder has won two Premier League titles and the League Cup during his spell at Chelsea FC.
