Alvaro Morata is determined to get back fit for Chelsea FC as quickly as possible

Alvaro Morata has promised Chelsea FC fans that he will do everything he can to get back to full fitness as quickly as possible as he bids to help the Blues beat Barcelona in the Champions League next week.

The Spanish striker made his return from a niggling back injury when he came on as a substitute during the Blues’ 3-0 win over West Brom at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

The 25-year-old has been missing due to the injury in recent weeks but he will now be hoping to find full fitness once again as he bids to help the Blues enjoy a successful second half of the season.

And the Spain international has promised Chelsea FC fans that he will put his head down and continue to work hard as he bids to get back to full fitness as soon as possible.

Speaking to Movistar, Morata said: “I have to grit my teeth and do all that I can to return [to full fitness]. We have the Champions League tie [against Barcelona].”

Before next week’s crunch Champions League clash with FC Barcelona, Morata will be hoping to help fire the Blues into the sixth round of the FA Cup when they host Hull City at Stamford Bridge on Friday night.

The west London side reached the final of the tournament last season but were beaten by Arsenal at Wembley.
