Ivan Rakitic has admitted that he rates Chelsea FC star Eden Hazard as one of the top attacking players in world football.

The Belgian playmaker has earned a reputation as one of the Premier League’s top attacking talents since his move to Stamford Bridge from French side Lille back in the summer of 2012.

Hazard has helped Chelsea FC to win two Premier League titles since his move to the west London side, despite his dramatic dip in form in the 2015-16 campaign.

The 27-year-old has regularly been linked with a move away from Chelsea FC, with Real Madrid supposedly keen on bringing him to Spain.

And FC Barcelona attacker Rakitic has admitted that he is a keen admirer of the Belgian attacker.

Rakitic is quoted as saying by Metro: “Yeah, for me he is [a world class player].

“He’s maybe the most important player for Chelsea. But we know Chelsea is not only Hazard.

“We know he’s really fast, that he searches one-against-ones. I think his last games he’s been in really good form.”

Hazard has been in good form for Chelsea FC so far this season, scoring 11 goals and making two assists in the Premier League so far.

The Belgian will be hoping to start for the Blues when they return to Premier League action on Sunday with a crunch clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Chelsea FC won the Premier League title in style last season but are currently fourth in the table.
