Eden Hazard’s five-word reply when asked if Chelsea FC star’s signing for Real Madrid
Eden Hazard responds to reports he could quit Chelsea FC to sign for Real Madrid in the future
Eden Hazard has fuelled the speculation that he could be set for a transfer to Real Madrid in the future by refusing to rule out a move away from Chelsea FC.
The Belgian playmaker is widely considered to be one of the best attacking talents in Europe and he has been earning rave reviews for his performances for Chelsea FC over the last few years.
Hazard has won two Premier League titles with the west London side and was also voted as the PFA player of the year in the 2014-15 campaign.
The 27-year-old has regularly been touted as a possible transfer target for Real Madrid, although it remains to be seen whether that is anything more than pure speculation at this stage.
However, his latest comments about a proposed move to Real Madrid are likely to little to quell the speculation linking him with a move to Spain.
Hazard told Spanish newspaper Marca when quizzed about the latest Real Madrid reports: “In football you never know.”
Meanwhile, Hazard will be expecting to start for Chelsea FC when the Blues return to Premier League action on Monday night with a home clash against West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge.
The west London side are aiming to return to winning ways after back to back losses to Bournemouth and Watford.
