Danny Drinkwater looks sharp as he takes part in Chelsea FC training at Cobham ahead of Sunday's trip to Man United
Danny Drinkwater looked to be in good shape as he took part in Chelsea FC training at Cobham ahead of Sunday’s crunch clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The England international has been getting used to life at Stamford Bridge after having signed for the Blues from Leicester City in the summer transfer window last year.
Drinkwater has endured something of a frustrating start to life at the west London club after having to recover from injury in the first few weeks of the season.
The 27-year-old has made a total of 10 Premier League appearances so far for Chelsea FC this season, but only three of those have been from the start.
The midfielder will be hoping that he will have done enough to earn a spot in the starting line-up for Chelsea FC’s crunch clash with Manchester United on Sunday.
And he certainly looked like he was in good shape in training before the game, as he took part in a jumping exercise with Cesar Azpilicueta.
Chelsea FC head into Sunday’s game on the back of their 1-1 draw with FC Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The west London side are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table as they chase a top four finish this season.
