The Brazilian attacker has been in top form for the west London side in recent weeks and he scored the opening goals in Chelsea FC’s recent clashes against FC Barcelona and Manchester United.
Willian opened the scoring for the Blues in the first half at Old Trafford on Sunday but Manchester United fought back and won the game thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku and substitute Jesse Lingard.
The 29-year-old has been in top form for Chelsea FC this season despite seeing his opportunities from the bench somewhat restricted.
He has scored 12 goals and made seven assists in all competitions for Antonio Conte’s men so far this term.
Mourinho knows Willian well after having coached him during his time in charge of Chelsea FC.
And the Manchester United manager had plenty of praise for the attacker after his display against the Red Devils on Sunday afternoon at Old Trafford.
Speaking in an interview with ESPN Brasil, Red Devils manager Mourinho said: “Do you want to talk about Willian? Top, cream of the crop, he’s amazing.
“In his national team there’s no bad players. The Brazil manager [Tite] is really good with huge club experience. You guys [Brazil] will do great things in Russia.”
Willian will be hoping to help Chelsea FC return to winning ways on Sunday afternoon when the Blues travel to Premier League leaders Manchester City.
