Olivier Giroud looked sharp as he trained with Emerson Palmieri after his move to Chelsea FC last week
Olivier Giroud looked to be in good shape as he trained with his new Chelsea FC team-mates at Cobham on Saturday morning.
The striker has been getting used to life at Stamford Bridge in recent days after completing something of a surprise transfer to the west London side from Arsenal last week.
Giroud was deemed to be surplus to requirements at The Emirates by Arsene Wenger after Arsenal signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund.
With Giroud having struggled for game-time at The Emirates this season, he sought a move away as he bids to try and get some valuable game-time ahead of this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
Giroud will be hoping to feature for the Blues when they take on Watford in the Premier League on Monday night and his hopes of starting the game could be boosted by the fact that Alvaro Morata is currently out injured.
And Giroud looks as if he is settling in well to life at Stamford Bridge as he took part in training on Saturday along with fellow January signing Emerson Palmieri.
Chelsea FC head into their clash with Watford on Monday night looking to bounce back from their shock 3-0 loss to Bournemouth in the Premier League last Wednesday night.
