Chelsea FC ready to make summer transfer move to sign England star – report
Chelsea FC could make a move to sign Joe Hart from Manchester City in the summer, according to reports
Chelsea FC are lining up a move to sign Joe Hart in the summer transfer window if Thibaut Courtois leaves the club, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the west London side have targeted the England goalkeeper as a potential replacement for Courtois should the Belgian leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
The same report says that Chelsea FC are worried that Courtois could see out the final year of his contract and then leave on a free transfer at the end of next season.
The story says that Hart is “in the frame” to move to Chelsea FC if indeed Courtois does end up leaving Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window.
Hart is currently on loan to West Ham United from Manchester City after he was deemed to be surplus to requirements by Pep Guardiola at The Etihad.
Chelsea FC are likely to be in the market for a number of players in the summer transfer window following the Blues’ disappointing dip in form in recent weeks.
The west London side were thrashed 4-1 by Watford on Monday night just days after their shock 3-0 loss to Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge last week.
