Thierry Henry lavished praise on Eden Hazard for his sparkling display in Chelsea FC’s 3-0 victory over West Brom in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
The west London side set the Blues on their way towards victory when he fired home the opener in the 25th minute after combining well with Olivier Giroud.
Victor Moses then made it 2-0 to the hosts when he fired home from close range in the 63rd minute.
And Hazard netted a brilliant third when he first an unstoppable left-footed shot into the bottom corner in the 71st minute.
Arsenal legend Henry has been working with Hazard as part of his coaching role in the Belgian national team.
And the former France international was hugely impressed by what he saw from Hazard, especially his play for the opening goal.
Speaking during Sky Sports‘ coverage of the game, Henry said: “If you let Eden turn and pick and choose whatever he wants to do… Eden loves to play with his number nine.
“In any position that he is, he wants to play off the number nine. He always does it a certain way. Every single time he goes and gets the ball back [from the striker].
“What an assist from Olivier Giroud and what a finish.”
Chelsea FC will now switch their attentions back towards FA Cup affairs and their fifth-round clash with Hull City at Stamford Bridge on Friday night.
The west London side, who are fourth in the Premier League table, will take on FC Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League later this month.
