Chelsea FC face intense competition from Bayern Munich to sign Borussia Dortmund teenager Christian Pulisic, say reports
Chelsea FC are set to face intense competition from Bayern Munich for the signature of Borussia Dortmund teenager Christian Pulisic in the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is claiming that the west London side are set to come up against stiff competition from the Bundesliga outfit as they try and tempt the teenager into a move to Stamford Bridge.
The same report says that Chelsea FC have identified the teenager as a key target for the summer as they brace themselves for bids for both Eden Hazard and Willian.
The story says that Liverpool FC have already failed with a bid to sign Pulisic but that they remain as keen admirers of the United States international.
The article also states that although Dortmund are reluctant to sell Pulisic, they know that Bayern Munich would be able to cough up big money to land the teenager.
The story even quotes German media as claiming that Dortmund would seek a transfer fee of as much as £88m for the teenager this summer.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are now preparing to return to Premier League action as they gear up for their crunch clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
