Michael Owen is backing Tottenham Hotspur to win to nil against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Lilywhites are in fifth place in the Premier League table and a point adrift of Chelsea FC in the race to secure a top-four spot.

Tottenham are unbeaten in their last six Premier League games to help put pressure on Chelsea FC, Liverpool FC and Manchester United in the top four.

Spurs eased to impressive victories over Arsenal and Manchester United at Wembley over the past month or so, while Tottenham came from behind to rescue a 2-2 draw at Liverpool FC.

Palace are in 15th place in the Premier League table and a point above the relegation zone ahead of the visit of their north London rivals.

Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is confident Tottenham Hotspur will ease to a straightforward win against Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday.

“Crystal Palace have lost their last five Premier League games against Spurs and Harry Kane has scored twice and had one assist in his three Premier League appearances at Selhurst Park,” Owen told BetVictor.

“Eagles’ boss Roy Hodgson needs to find a way to keep the England striker quiet but that is easier said than done.

“Spurs have picked up more league points than any other side so far in 2018 (15) and are the only side unbeaten in the PL so far this year. Palace have only kept one clean sheet in their last 27 London derbies and Spurs are likely to be too classy for the hosts on Sunday.”

Tottenham were credited with a resolute performance after coming from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Serie A giants Juventus in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash earlier this month.

Spurs were pegged back in their FA Cup fifth round following a 2-2 draw with League One side Rochdale last weekend.
