Francesco Totti believes Mohamed Salah still has room to go to another level at Liverpool FC.

The Egypt international moved to the Reds in a £39m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma in the 2017 summer transfer window.

Salah established himself as one of the top attacking players in Serie A during his three seasons in the Italian top flight.

The African forward’s move to Liverpool FC was met with some skepticism given his difficult spell at Chelsea FC in 2014.

However, Salah has scored 22 goals in 27 games in the Premier League this season to hit the ground running at the Anfield outfit.

The 25-year-old’s strike in Liverpool FC’s 5-0 win against Porto in the first leg of the Champions League last-16 clash was his 30th goal of the season in all competitions.

Only Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane has scored more goals than Salah in Europe’s top five leagues in the current campaign.

Salah’s former Roma team-mate Totti believes the Egyptian forward can go to another level despite his incredible form at Liverpool FC.

“The level he is playing at, at the moment, he is one of the best players in the world – and I think he can and will get even better,” Totti is quoted as saying by Liverpool FC’s website.

“I know him well. He is a good friend and wants to keep improving, to keep getting better as a player.

“He does all the right things, he trains hard, he works hard, he listens to the coaches – that’s why, as good as he is playing at the moment, I think maybe there is even one more level in him.”

Salah netted 34 times in 83 games in all competitions during two seasons in the Italian capital at AS Roma.

The African forward will be hoping to take to the pitch in Liverpool FC’s home clash against West Ham United on Saturday.
