Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain takes to social media to celebrate Liverpool FC's 4-1 win over West Ham
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has taken to social media to celebrate Liverpool FC’s impressive 4-1 victory over West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been getting used to life at Anfield after leaving Arsenal to sign for the Reds back in the summer transfer window.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been gradually working his way into the first team on Merseyside and he has been improving his performances in recent weeks.
The England midfielder provided the assist for Mohamed Salah’s goal early in the second half after Emre Can had given the Reds the lead.
Goals from Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane then made the three points secure as Jurgen Klopp’s men moved up into second place in the Premier League table.
And the former Arsenal star was clearly happy to play his part in helping Liverpool FC claim an important three points in front of their home fans.
Oxlade-Chamberlain posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “When @mosalah22 asks for the assist at half time 😅 Great win today! #YNWA.”
Liverpool FC will return to Premier League action next Saturday evening when they host Newcastle United at Anfield.
The Reds are aiming to at least better their fourth-placed finish in the top flight from last season.
