Top 25-year-old set to land ‘bumper’ Liverpool FC contract – report
Sadio Mane is set to be offered a new contract by Liverpool FC, according to reports
Sadio Mane is set to be handed a new and improved contract at Liverpool FC following his strong form for the Merseyside outfit, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that Senegal international is poised to land a new “bumper” contract following his good performances for the Reds.
Mane’s current contract is due to expire in the summer of 2021, but the Reds appear keen to tie the 25-year-old down to a new deal at the Merseyside club.
The same story says that Mane currently earns around £80,000 a week at the Anfield club and he can expect to double his salary if he does pen a new deal with the Reds.
However, the article also says that there is “no rush” on either side to get a new deal signed, as he still has plenty of time left on his current contract.
Mane has been in fine form for Liverpool FC so far this season and he scored a hat-trick in the Reds’ 5-0 Champions League win over FC Porto last week.
The Senegal international has netted a total of 12 goals in all competitions this season and has notched up six assists for his team-mates.
Liverpool FC return to action with a home clash against West Ham United at Anfield on Saturday.
