Virgil van Dijk looks sharp ahead of Liverpool FC's clash with West Ham United next weekend
Virgil van Dijk looks like he is settling in well to life at Liverpool FC following his transfer to the Merseyside outfit from Southampton last month.
The defender became the Reds’ only signing of the January transfer window as Jurgen Klopp opted to spend big on bringing him to Anfield to bolster his options at the back.
The Netherlands international cost the Reds a reported fee of £75m as Klopp moved quickly to snap up the centre-half following the relentless speculation about his future in previous months.
Liverpool FC are currently enjoying a warm weather training camp in Spain as Klopp prepares his team for their home Premier League clash against West Ham United at Anfield on Saturday.
And Van Dijk looked to be in good shape as he trained with his team-mates including Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino in Spain.
Van Dijk helped the Reds to keep a clean sheet in their impressive 5-0 win over FC Porto in the Champions League in Portugal last week.
The Reds are currently in third place in the Premier League table as they chase Champions League qualification for the second season running under Klopp.
