Liverpool FC want to sign 25-year-old before summer transfer window – report
Liverpool FC are attempting to get a deal in place to sign Alisson from Roma before the summer transfer window opens
Liverpool FC are attempting to get a deal in place to sign Alisson from Roma before the summer transfer window officially opens, according to reports in the British media.
Sky Sports is reporting that the Reds are keen to sign the Brazilian goalkeeper ahead of the summer as Jurgen Klopp looks to bring in reinforcements between the posts for the Merseyside outfit.
The same story says that discussions are already under way between the two parties with a view towards getting a deal done before the summer transfer window.
The article also claims that Liverpool FC made an enquiry about signing the 25-year-old shot-stopper in the January transfer window but no deal was agreed.
Liverpool FC could have to spend big on landing Alisson, however, with the Italian outfit reportedly valuing the goalkeeper at around £62m (€70m).
The story says that Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson is Liverpool FC’s top target out of five goalkeepers they are looking at ahead of the summer transfer window.
There has been much uncertainty about Liverpool FC’s shot-stoppers this season, with Klopp seemingly unable to decide between Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius between the posts.
Liverpool FC were impressive 5-0 winners over Porto in the Champions League last 16 on Wednesday night.
