Liverpool FC are being linked with a move to sign Isco from Real Madrid, according to reports
Liverpool FC could be set to make a move to try and sign Isco from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish outlet Diario Gol, as quoted by TEAMtalk, is reporting that the Reds could be set to take advantage of Isco’s alleged falling out with Cristiano Ronaldo and look to bring him to Anfield this summer.
The same report says that Ronaldo has held talks with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez in recent days and has urged the Spanish side to cash in on Isco.
The article also suggests that Anfield could be a possible destination for the 25-year-old Spanish attacking midfielder as the Reds search for a long-term replacement for Philippe Coutinho on Merseyside.
Liverpool FC are likely to be on the lookout for significant reinforcements in the summer transfer window after letting Coutinho leave for Barcelona last month.
The Reds did spend big on bringing in Virgil van Dijk from Southampton in the January window, but Jurgen Klopp will surely be looking to further bolster his squad ahead of next season.
The Merseyside outfit return to Premier League action on Saturday when they host West Ham United in the Premier League at Anfield.
