Liverpool FC pondering move to sign quality Tottenham star – report
Liverpool FC are pondering a move to sign midfielder Victor Wanyama from Tottenham, according to reports
Liverpool FC are monitoring Victor Wanyama’s situation at Tottenham Hotspur with a view to a summer move for the midfielder, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Reds, along with Manchester United and Chelsea FC, have taken a keen interest in the Kenya international’s situation at White Hart Lane after he has been used sparingly by Mauricio Pochettino this season.
The same story says that Liverpool FC are keeping tabs on the 26-year-old’s situation at Spurs, with Emre Can’s future at Anfield remaining unclear.
Wanyama has only started one Premier League game for Tottenham Hotspur so far this season and has made a total of nine appearances in the top flight for Spurs so far this term.
Liverpool FC are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as the summer transfer window gives Jurgen Klopp the chance to bolster his squad significantly.
The Reds are currently enjoying some precious time off as they prepare to return to Premier League action with a home clash against West Ham United on Saturday.
The Merseyside outfit were in impressive form when they thrashed FC Porto 5-0 in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 clash on Wednesday last week.
