Paul Merson is confident Liverpool FC will ease to a 3-0 win over West Ham United at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds are unbeaten in their last four games in all competitions to piece together some impressive form over the past month or so.

Liverpool FC haven’t been in action since their impressive 5-0 win against Porto in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash in Portugal earlier in February.

The Merseyside outfit have beaten Huddersfield Town and Southampton in two of their last three Premier League games, with a 2-2 draw with Tottenham sandwiched between those two results.

West Ham, meanwhile, have only managed to win one of their last Premier League games on the road to leave.

Worryingly, David Moyes has failed to mastermind a win in seven visits to Anfield during spells in charge of Everton, Manchester United and Sunderland.

Former Arsenal midfielder Merson is backing Liverpool FC to make light work of West Ham on Saturday afternoon.

“I have no idea how West Ham can go about stopping Liverpool’s front three, they are very, very good,” Merson told Sky Sports.

“West Ham won’t have written this game off but it is a free swing, if they lose this game it doesn’t affect them in the grand scheme of things.”

Liverpool were 4-1 winners against West Ham United at the London Stadium earlier in the season after goals from Mohamed Salah, Joel Matip and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The Reds have scored eight goals in their last two meetings with the Hammers despite having struggled against West Ham in their recent meetings at Anfield.
