Ray Parlour believes Cesc Fabregas could be a potential weakness that Manchester United exploit when Chelsea FC visit Old Trafford on Sunday.

The defending Premier League champions will make the long trip to Manchester fresh from a 1-1 draw with Barcelona mid-week.

Chelsea FC were the better team at Stamford Bridge but Lionel Messi cancelled out Willian’s opener in the first leg of the last-16 clash.

Manchester United, meanwhile, battled to a goalless draw with La Liga Sevilla in a disappointing performance in Spain.

The Blues were 1-0 winners against Jose Mourinho’s team at Stamford Bridge back in October thanks to Alvaro Morata’s winner.

Paul Pogba’s recent omissions will provide a big talking points ahead of their top-four clash at Old Trafford.

However, former Arsenal midfielder Parlour has identified Fabregas as a potential weak link in the Chelsea FC team.

“There is a worry when Fabregas is in the team,” Parlour told Sky Sports.

“His mobility in midfield… Can he get around the pitch like he used to?

“The midfield battle is usually where the game is won.”

Manchester United have lost to Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur in their last two Premier League games on the road.

The Red Devils are a mere three points ahead of Chelsea FC as the top-four race hots up with a place in the Champions League at stake.
