Juan Mata has warned Manchester United not to underestimate Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

The Red Devils were 4-0 winners against League Two side Yeovil Town in the FA Cup fourth round on Friday night.

New January signing Alexis Sanchez made two assists in the one-sided cup clash to make a promising start to his Red Devils career.

Manchester United were unbeaten in their opening seven Premier League games before a 2-1 loss to Huddersfield Town at John Smith Stadium.

The Red Devils haven’t lost a game in their last eight Premier League outings to climb up the table.

Manchester United will be loathe to lose more points on runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City.

Mata is adamant that Manchester United won’t take Huddersfield’s threat lightly at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

“On Saturday, we have Huddersfield at home,” Mata wrote on his personal blog, One Hour Behind.

“They are struggling to win in this start of 2018 but they already showed in the first leg what they’re capable of; let’s try to learn from that experience so we can make the most of our virtues and get the three points.”

Manchester United are in second place in the Premier League table and 12 points behind current leaders Manchester City.

The Red Devils will take on La Liga side Sevilla in the Champions League round of 16 next month.

Mata has spent four years at Old Trafford following a £37.1m switch to Manchester United from Chelsea in 2013.
