Chelsea FC returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Monday night when they secured an impressive 3-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge.
The west London side are now in fourth place in the Premier League table as Antonio Conte looks to try and guide them to Champions League qualification for the second season running.
Chelsea FC are not in Premier League action again until they take on Manchester United at Old Trafford in a crunch top-flight clash at Old Trafford on Sunday 25 February.
A win for the Blues would see them move level on points with Jose Mourinho’s men as the race for Champions League qualification hots up.
And former striker Sutton has warned Manchester United that they can ill afford to lose that game against the west London side.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live, Sutton said: “If Chelsea beat Manchester United in their next league game they will go level on points.
“They had the match winner in Eden Hazard. It was all about the performance and result [against West Brom] and Antonio Conte got it from his team.”
Chelsea FC return to FA Cup action with a fifth round clash against Hull City at Stamford Bridge on Friday night.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are aiming to progress to the sixth round when they travel to Huddersfield Town on Saturday night.
